Tired of having all your wildlife and spectacular scenery photos turn out just not quite what you expected ? You will have the opportunity August 1st – 4th, 2012 to remedy those problems. Johnny Sundby has the experience and the knowledge to help you setup and follow thru the processes to get the photos of which you are really capable.

Johnny Sundby is a full-time professional photographer from Rapid City, South Dakota, who has had over 40,000 hardcover books of his works sold with three different titles. He has also been published in over 35 national magazines and newspapers. He was a Rapid City Journal photographer from 1991 -1997, and also worked for the Associated Press and the Miles City (Mont) Star. He has won many awards for his photography including Court of Honor for professional South Dakota photographers by the PPA and was named “ Best Photographer in South Dakota” by Eyes on You Magazine.

This four day backcountry adventure in Yellowstone National Park is an ideal setting for once in a lifetime photo opportunities. This pristine wilderness trip is just like going back in time, except we will have some amenities that the trappers and mountain men didn’t enjoy. The trails for the most part follow the rivers and creeks for access into the Yellowstone backcountry. On every trip, we have had the opportunity to see a variety of wildlife . This is the home of buffalo, elk, deer, wolves, coyotes, moose, bear (both grizzly and black), eagles, and antelope. The fishing for Cutthroat trout is excellent.

This trip is in the Lamar River Drainage and we have an excellent camp. We will stay in Cowboy range tents with sewn in floors and zippers. The best of cowboy cooking, with cowboy songs and poetry around the campfire. Beautiful country, great horses, fantastic companionship, plus an opportunity to improve your photographic skills , all combine for a once in a lifetime photographic Yellowstone backcountry adventure. The price for this awesome 4 day Yellowstone Backcountry adventure is $400.00 per day per person. We accept Master Card, Visa, and Personal Checks.
